A GA1 Certificate is issued after a Thorough Inspection of your equipment by a qualified person. These inspections are mandated by the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Regulations 2010. Every employer is required to provide a safe working environment for all employees and to make sure that equipment used in the workplace is safe and reliable.
In order to reduce the risk of injury or harm to employees, equipment used in the workplace should be inspected regularly. We are trained and qualified to inspect workplace equipment, machinery and vehicles and we can issue GA1 Certificates following such inspections.

The equipment testing regime varies from jurisdiction, although the core elements are consistent. Jim O’Brien is qualified to conduct all GA1, LOLER and PUWER inspections and to certify equipment under each of these regulatory environments.
